THE WOMAN
A woman is a free spirit, elusive and indefinable. She is determined and hesitant, hyperactive and idle, free and in love, serene and grumpy, strong and weak (no, actually, she is never that). One single constant remains timeless and universal for her: woman is a seductress.
When she created LYEVA in 2018, Christelle thought of clothing adapted to the modern woman: athletic obviously, elegant always, and certainly overwhelmed. The simplicity of LYEVA clothing offers women an attitude that ensures absolute elegance in any circumstance.
LYEVA was the womenswear brand of PULLIN, during the period when PULLIN Women no longer existed.
LYEVA
Yeva, Eve in Russian, embodies the ambivalence and complexity of woman. Mother of humanity, Yeva is also an altruistic and tyrannical woman, spontaneous and calculating, modest and vain. Enterprising, she loves to shine and cannot bear failure.
CHRISTELLE
Christelle is deeply attached to the South-West. The logo is an expression of this attachment: the tree is omnipresent in the Landes; the Oak of Guernica is a symbol of freedom for the Basques; the tree of life symbolizes the strength of life and the importance of roots. The 4 constitutive elements of life are represented there: water, fire, earth, and air. The insertion of the Yin Yang diabolises this tree of life and thus evokes the dark side of woman.
